Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a construction delivery leader for our Gruyere mine in Western Australia. You will lead safe, efficient, and timely delivery of a portfolio of construction projects within the Engineering Projects department, ensuring compliance with scope, quality, schedule and site standards.

You will work with contractors to drive construction readiness, develop methodologies, supervise field activities, and coordinate shutdowns and SIMOPS while maintaining a strong safety culture and

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification is desirable
• Experience in supervisory or Leading Hand level positions
• Ability to develop permits, JHAs and risk assessments
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Drive construction readiness including methodology, scope development, mobilisation, site establishment, workfront planning and handover.
• Coordinate with contractors to finalise construction methodologies and ensure safe, quality work and proper controls.
• Develop and review permits, JHAs, lift plans and other construction-related requirements to support safe execution.
• Collaborate with operations to coordinate shutdowns and SIMOPS to minimise production impact.
• Lead by example, foster an inclusive, safe, high-performing team culture aligned with company values.
