Job summary

Whittens is seeking 2/1 FIFO Construction Superintendents with experience in large-scale Concrete Infrastructure and Bulk Earthworks to positively influence project delivery and culture. You will oversee self-perform civil works and lead safety, quality and program delivery across complex sites.

Successful candidates will bring 10+ years in senior civil roles, expert planning and strong stakeholder leadership, with a track record of safe, proactive project management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on self-perform civil infrastructure.
• Major Concrete and/or Bulk Earthworks experience is essential.
• Strong planning, monitoring and documentation skills are required.
• Demonstrated safety and environmental leadership behaviour.
• Self-starter with excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities.

We are recruiting 2/1 FIFO Construction Superintendents with experience in large scale Concrete Infrastructure and/or Bulk Earthworks projects who have a genuine interest to positively influence project delivery and promote a memorable culture at Whittens.

About You

To Be Successful, You Will Have the Following

• At least 10 years+ experience as a Superintendent and/or Construction Manager with a Civil Contractor overseeing self‑perform infrastructure projects - A must
• Major Concrete and/or Bulk Earthworks experience
• Excellent planning, monitoring and documentation skills
• Demonstrated safety and environmental leadership behaviour
• Self‑starter, with well‑developed organisational and stakeholder management skills
