Job summary

ISS is seeking experienced Chefs and Chef Leaders to join a FIFO roster serving remote villages across Queensland. You will report to the Head Chef and site Catering Leads, leading breakfast, lunch, and dinner services while ensuring safety and contract standards.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Certification or Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (essential).
• Current Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain one (essential).
• High-volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience or a la carte experience in high-volume venues/restaurants/hotels.
• Experience delivering best-in-industry food quality and safety adherence.
• Able to work a flexible FIFO roster from Brisbane Airport.

Responsibilities

• Lead breakfast, takeaway lunches, and dinner service, delivering safe and innovative meals.
• Translate food safety practices into daily kitchen routines and maintain contract standards.
• Drive quality and efficiency while managing large-scale catering operations for remote villages.
