Job summary

Frog Recruitment's client, a well-established Australian manufacturer and supplier of specialised construction materials, seeks a Trade Sales & Specification Manager to drive growth across the Eastern Seaboard, with a strong focus on NSW.

The role is autonomous and field-based, developing specification opportunities by engaging with engineers, contractors and material suppliers. You will manage opportunities from engagement to delivery and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into construction, concrete, civil or manufacturing sectors.
• Exposure to ready-mix/concrete, precast, concrete technologies or construction materials.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Ability to engage with plant managers, engineers and decision-makers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and customer-focused approach.
• Strong commercial acumen and growth mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously with a diverse customer portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with ready-mix concrete producers, precast manufacturers, contractors and construction material suppliers.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across infrastructure, commercial, industrial and civil projects.
• Engage with engineering professionals and key decision-makers to increase product specification opportunities.
• Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations and site visits.
• Provide practical advice on product applications, performance and project requirements.
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to project delivery.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide market feedback and forecasting.
• Represent the business at industry events, networking functions and customer meetings.
• Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
