Job summary

Our client, a well-established Australian manufacturer and supplier of specialised construction materials, is seeking a Trade Sales & Specification Manager to drive growth across the Eastern Seaboard with a strong NSW focus. You will develop and expand market presence across ready-mix and precast concrete, construction materials, and infrastructure sectors, engaging engineers, producers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into construction, concrete, civil, infrastructure or manufacturing sectors.
• Exposure to ready-mix concrete, precast concrete, concrete technologies, admixtures, waterproofing products or broader construction materials.
• Strong business development and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proactive, self-motivated and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with ready-mix concrete producers, precast manufacturers, contractors and construction material suppliers.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across infrastructure, commercial, industrial and civil projects.
• Engage with consulting engineers, project managers and key decision-makers to increase product specification opportunities.
• Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations and site visits.
• Provide practical advice on product applications, performance and project requirements.
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to project delivery.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide regular market feedback and forecasting.
• Represent the business at industry events, networking functions and customer meetings.
