Job summary

Chandler Macleod invites a reliable Field Technician to support an exploration project in the Pilbara. You will work alongside geologists, assist with sample collection, and help maintain field operations in remote locations.

Field Technician

We’re on the lookout for a reliable, enthusiasticField Technicianto support an exciting exploration project in the Pilbara. If you enjoy hands‑on work, remote travel, and being part of a tight‑knit field crew, this role is for you.

You’ll be working alongside experienced geologists and supporting exploration activities for Rio Tinto, contributing to a significant Australian resource project.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist geologists and field teams with sample collection and general site support
• Accurately label, log, and transport geological samples
• Maintain field camp cleanliness and help manage daily logistics
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements
• Record basic field data and support mapping activities
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures
