Job summary

Chandler Macleod is sourcing Field Assistants to support Rio Tinto operations in Newman, Western Australia. The role involves coordinating logistics, sampling movements, and field program support on a safety-focused site with experienced crews.

You will work across Pilbara with a strong emphasis on quality control, data collection, and collaboration with geologists and contractors to ensure timely field execution. Applicants should have field or drilling experience and a current licence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting field, operational, drilling or maintenance activities in a safety-focused environment.
• Experience working with drilling, geology or exploration teams.
• Current manual driver's licence (preferably HR), forklift LF or working towards.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow quality control procedures for sampling or data collection activities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Dedication to everyone's safety
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and other testing

This is a great opportunity to join a safety-focused team working on site with Rio Tinto. You'll work alongside experienced crews, supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to safe and reliable outcomes.
