Job summary

VERIDAPT is seeking a Field Services Engineer to join our Field Services team, reporting to the Head of Field Services & Safety. This role is central to ensuring our service partners deliver outstanding outcomes for VERIDAPT’s Australian customers, supporting our industrial IoT hardware and fuel management solutions.

You’ll provide technical expertise, training and support across multiple disciplines as our partners deliver services to customers across Australia.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years’ experience in electrical service within an industrial environment.
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems.
• Strong networking and communications knowledge.
• Strong investigation and troubleshooting capability across hardware and software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence training and supporting people with different levels of technical experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work across office, site and home environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical training and support to VERIDAPT service partners.
• Oversee onsite work and maintain regular communication with partners during project delivery.
• Conduct site and vehicle audits where required.
• Assist partners with technical training material, troubleshooting guides and installation support.
• Provide remote technical assistance during installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot technical issues for service partners and customers.
• Provide Tier 2 engineering and technical support for site issues.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and provide feedback from customer and partner experience.
• Conduct site audits and gather technical information to assist Sales with project scoping and quotations.
• Identify opportunities to improve outcomes for existing customers.
