STERIS in Australia is seeking a hands-on Electrical Technician who thrives in the field, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

You will perform scheduled maintenance on sterilizers and hospital infection control equipment, assist with installation, diagnose faults, respond to on-call calls, manage spare parts and inventory, and provide top-tier technical support.

Qualifications

• NSW A Grade Electrical License or NSW Restricted Electrical License.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fault diagnosis and repair.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to undergo Police Check and Working with Children Check as part of the employment process.
• Willingness to travel to rural areas when required.
• Desire to branch out and learn new skills, including pneumatics and steam systems.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
