Sterequip, an Australian-owned provider of outsourced sterilisation services, is seeking a Sterilising Team Leader for our state-of-the-art facility in Epping, VIC. You will lead daily operations, ensuring safe, compliant reprocessing of reusable medical devices and driving service excellence.

The role requires a Certificate III/IV in Sterilisation Technology, plus 2+ years in a leadership position within healthcare, with strong communication and reporting capabilities.

• Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation Technology is required.
• Expertise in perioperative instruments and sterilisation/disinfection techniques is required.
• Minimum 2 years Sterilising Team Leader experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines, and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency and experience with tracking and reporting systems.
• Leadership experience in a high-performance or healthcare environment is highly regarded.

Your Role

As Team Leader, you will report to the Sterilising Services Manager and be responsible for:

• Leading the daily operations of our sterilising team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
• Overseeing compliance with AS 5369 and participating in quality audits.
• Monitoring team performance and producing timely and accurate reports.
• Supporting a culture of safety in line with Work Health and Safety legislation.
• Working collaboratively across shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Driving continuous improvement and process changes when required.

• Undertake other duties as directed.

Your Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone with:
