Job summary

Pulford Air & Gas, a subsidiary of ELGi, is a global leader in compressed air solutions. We are seeking an autonomous Service Technician based in Brendale to install, service and repair pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems in the field.

This role involves on-road duties, occasional overtime, and regional travel, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service. The successful candidate will have field service experience in a technical environment, a mechanical/engineering background,

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in a technical environment (air, gas, or HVAC).
• Mechanical or engineering background required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused with a proactive, positive attitude.
• Current Queensland Driver Licence.
• Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally overtime.
• Australian work authorisation is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical faults in compressed air and nitrogen plant equipment in the field.
• Install, service and repair gas generation and air filtration systems in accordance with specs.
• Conduct commissioning and testing per internal/third-party standards and regulations.
• Identify capital equipment sales opportunities and provide timely quotes to customers.
• Occasional overtime, including Saturdays, and regional travel as required.
