Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia requires an experienced maintenance fitter to service compressed air equipment across workshop and customer sites. You will perform fault finding, preventative maintenance and accurate reporting, with lockout/tagout practices and after-hours breakdown coverage as needed.

The role demands a Full Electrical license, a manual Australian driver’s license, and a strong safety mindset. You will contribute to timely service and customer satisfaction in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Full Electrical license and trade qualifications.
• Experience in a maintenance field service environment is essential.
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Accurate fault finding and servicing of compressed air equipment in workshop or on customer sites.
• Prepare work permits and perform job hazard analyses.
• Isolate machines using personal danger locks and tags.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance: oil/filter changes, greasing, cleaning coolers.
• Review manuals and parts lists as references.
• Attend customer breakdowns as Duty fitter for after-hours service.
