Job summary

Bosch Rexroth in Brisbane, QLD, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service hydraulic systems onsite and in the workshop, delivering fault finding, repairs and commissioning with a strong customer focus.

You will work independently and as part of a small team, travel to customer sites, build relationships, and ensure equipment operates at peak performance while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Hydraulics, or similar.
• Experience in field service, repairs, and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working in mining, industrial, or heavy equipment environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
• Strong communication skills with a customer focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Breakdowns & Field Service: Respond to service and breakdown requests, carrying out fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Hydraulic Diagnostics: Diagnose issues and perform testing to restore system performance and reliability
• Installation & Commissioning: Install, commission, and test hydraulic systems and large scale projects
• Maintenance & System Support: Conduct system analysis and recommend maintenance or modernisation solutions
• Customer Support: Build strong relationships with customers through professional service delivery and ongoing engagement
• Parts & Service Opportunities: Identify spare parts and service opportunities to support customer needs and drive service growth
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare service reports, quotations, and quality documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
