JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to attend customer sites and service access equipment including elevating work platforms and telehandlers. You will perform inspections, repairs, and on-site troubleshooting while liaising with customers and internal teams.

The role requires travel, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to generate service leads. A trade qualification in elevating work platform technology or related field is essential, with a focus on

• Previous experience in a similar role; experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems is advantageous.
• Must have a trade qualification in elevating work platforms, heavy vehicles, diesel, automotive or auto-electrical fields.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form; read manuals and safety information.
• Ability to travel and visit customer sites; valid drivers licence.
• Yellow card and over 11-meter high risk licence is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs of equipment focused on elevating work platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers.
• Occasionally work with hydraulic hoses, diesel engines and small construction equipment.
• Travel to customer sites and, where needed, complete repairs on site to limit off-site transport.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with Field Service Coordinator about repairs or quotes.
• Generate service leads and maintain accurate job notes and documentation.
