Job summary

Oshkosh's JLG division is seeking a Field Service Technician to attend customer premises, conduct inspections, servicing and repairs on access equipment including elevating work platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers. You will travel to sites, complete paperwork and liaise with stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met.

Role requires strong mechanical/hydraulic/electrical knowledge, trade qualification in elevating work platform tech, and the ability to generate service leads while

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in elevating work platform technology or related field.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write notes and read manuals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs of equipment with focus on elevating platforms.
• Travel to customer sites and perform on-site repairs to minimize off-site transport.
• Complete paperwork and inspection forms accurately and on time.
• Liaise with field coordinators and technical support; provide quotes when needed.
• Generate service leads and maintain stock/van audits as required.
