Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Workshop Technician to service and repair MEWP, Telehandlers and Lighting Towers in the workshop and on-site. You will inspect equipment, install and test electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and support apprentices while following safety policies.

The role requires a trade qualification in related fields, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical work is preferred.
• Trade qualification in elevating work platform technology or related field is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in reading safety information, manuals and basic numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and repairs to MEWP, Telehandlers and Lighting Towers in workshop and field.
• Inspect equipment for compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Install, test and modify electronic, mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Conduct pre delivery inspections and routine maintenance.
• Assist with training and supervision of Apprentices.
• Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness and paperwork as required.
