Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services in Australia is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to perform complete mechanical repair, overhaul and maintenance of compressed air equipment, with precise documentation. You will troubleshoot faults and carry out scheduled servicing to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Maintenance field service experience in a technical environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
• Australian Manual Drivers License.
• Excellent customer service ability.
• Experience with pneumatic equipment and fault finding in compressed air systems.
• Ability to work in a busy, dynamic environment and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems in air compressors and generators and repair as needed.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and maintain performance.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records, prepare reports and documentation.
• Follow safety protocols, complete JSA, wear PPE, keep workspace clean.
• Travel within Australia and internationally as required.
• Take on any other duties within your skills.
