Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service technician to perform mechanical repair, overhaul and scheduled maintenance of compressed air equipment across Australia and internationally as required. You will diagnose faults with diagnostic equipment, carry out repairs to ensure equipment functionality, and maintain thorough service records while delivering excellent customer service.

Role involves travel to customer sites, working indoors and outdoors, and occasional overtime or weekend work to meet

Qualifications

Experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of compressed air equipment.
Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to diagnose issues on-site.
Proven customer service orientation and ability to communicate clearly.
Valid Australian manual driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Complete mechanical repair, overhaul and mechanical maintenance of compressed air equipment and associated products.
Identify problems in air compressors and generators through electrical/mechanical fault finding using diagnostic equipment.
Perform repairs to rectify issues and ensure equipment functionality.
Conduct scheduled maintenance including inspecting components, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing filters.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers on troubleshooting and usage.
Maintain accurate records of diagnoses, repairs, maintenance tasks and parts used.
Travel to customer sites for service calls and coordinate with colleagues as needed.
