Job summary

Fluence, a global leader in energy storage and optimization software, seeks an Electrician with HV expertise to join its maintenance team in Tomago. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and field service on BESS and HV systems, while collaborating with project managers to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Requirements include an A-Class Electrician license with HV experience, 2+ years in energy or battery storage, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Current A-Class Electrician License with HV experience.
Minimum 2 years in energy, engineering and/or battery storage field.
Ability to travel and work under pressure in multicultural environments.
Strong problem-solving and drawing interpretation skills.
Proactive in maintenance practices for renewable systems.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs and field service on BESS and HV/MV/LV systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with diagnostic tools.
Execute HV switching with safety and regulatory compliance.
Maintain records for maintenance, switching, permits and tech docs.
Support commissioning and optimize new installations.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders for safe operations.
Prepare reports and update technical documentation; stay updated on industry standards.
