Job summary

Kelm Hire in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is predominantly field based, attending customer sites to service equipment and respond to breakdowns.

Your home base will be either our Cheltenham or West Melbourne branch, where you'll be supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative team. You will work on Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Excavators and general tools, with a fully maintained company vehicle provided and ongoing training and career

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Diesel or Mechanical Technician (or equivalent experience).
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in the field.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid EWP License (Advantage).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair equipment in the field and occasionally in the yard.
• Attend breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently to minimise customer downtime.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Work safely and professionally on customer sites.
