Job summary

Pacific Hire in Somerton is seeking a Field Services Technician to join our branch. You will service and maintain a broad range of hire equipment, diagnose faults, keep detailed service records, and minimise downtime to ensure equipment is safe and ready for hire.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work Monday to Friday 7:00am–5:00pm and will have use of a company vehicle. A mechanical trade qualification and a current driver’s license are essential, with experience in petrol/diesel

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification is required.
• Current Driver's License.
• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics pneumatics and basic electrical skills preferred.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills.

Job description

We currently on the lookout for a Field Services Technician to be based out of our branch in Somerton.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this is a highly valued and critical role in ensuring our equipment is safe, up to standard, serviced and ready for hire.

In this role, you will assume responsibility for the efficient and effective servicing and preventative maintenance of our extensive range of hire equipment ensuring exceptional quality with an attention to detail.

The position is Full Time working Monday to Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm and includes the use of a company vehicle.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment
• Maintain up-to-date service records for all service and repair work
• Minimise operational downtime of equipment

Experience required:
