Job summary

TRUCK TECH is expanding its Sunshine West team to provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support for heavy vehicles across Melbourne. This role offers variety, independence and opportunities to grow with the company as it expands.

Based from Sunshine West, you will work directly with customers, perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults and carry out repairs on trucks, trailers and buses, with strong support from an experienced team behind you.

Qualifications

• Must have Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• HR licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance and servicing of heavy vehicles.

• Attending roadside and customer-site breakdowns.

About the Role

Based from our Sunshine West branch, you'll be working directly with customers across Melbourne, carrying out scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support on heavy vehicles.

This is an opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety, independence and solving problems in the field while being supported by an experienced team behind them.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preventative maintenance and servicing of heavy vehicles
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Repairs to trucks, trailers and buses
• Attending roadside and customer-site breakdowns
• Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation
• Delivering outstanding customer service on-site
• Working safely and professionally at all times

About You

• Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Reliable, accountable and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous)
