Job summary

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a customer-focused Field Service Foreman to lead Construction Industries field service operations across Rockhampton and Gladstone. You will oversee a team of Field Service Technicians, ensure safe and high-quality service delivery, and maintain strong customer relationships in the region.

Responsibilities include coordinating labour, parts, tooling and logistics, supporting diagnostics, and driving continuous improvements with service teams to achieve

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications such as Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent diesel fitter trade.
• CAT machinery knowledge and diagnostic tooling experience.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Customer-focused mindset with clear communication.
• Safety-first approach maintaining WHS standards.
• Valid drivers licence to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of Field Service Technicians.
• Act as primary contact for CIT customer service enquiries across Rockhampton and Gladstone.
• Coordinate labour, parts, tooling and logistics to support field repairs and maintenance.
• Assist technicians with diagnostics, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Manage daily work schedules and resource allocation to meet customer requirements.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Hastings Deering standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, delivering high-quality service.
• Collaborate with service, parts and planning teams to ensure outstanding customer outcomes.
