Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower Australia is seeking a service planning and coordination professional to orchestrate field and workshop repairs across Australia. You will work closely with field service engineers, logistics, sales and customers to ensure timely, accurate service delivery.

The role requires experience in service planning, strong customer focus, and proficiency with SAP, Innosoft, and related planning tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in service planning, service coordination, or service administration.
• Strong customer-facing experience with high service orientation.
• Basic understanding of VTBA vacuum equipment preferred.
• Experience with VTBA service processes preferred.
• Experience with Atlas Copco, Edwards, and Leybold equipment or similar is advantageous.
• Strong prioritization and conflict management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience with SAP, C4C CRM, Innosoft or similar planning/service systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective planning of all field service and workshop repairs in assigned territory.
• Act as primary coordination point for Field Service Engineers, supporting job readiness, trip planning, technician allocation, and visits.
• Manage service calendars, planning boards, and tracking systems to optimize technician availability, service response, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate customer service requests and maintain proactive communication with customers regarding scheduling and status.
• Use SAP and planning tools to create, update, and maintain service records through to completion.
• Coordinate spare parts, tools, and material availability with logistics and service teams to ensure jobs are prepared.
• Monitor stock and asset movements to minimize service delays and maintain records.
• Support invoicing readiness and job closure with complete data for billing.
• Coordinate ECS process updates, monitor SAP expiry dates, and support revalidation where required.
• Identify and fulfill customer needs to achieve high satisfaction and service contract adherence.
• Follow up business process performance through routine checks of planning status, blocked orders, invoices, and KPIs.
• Support local process implementation and end-user guidance for service, sales, and branch operations.
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety, quality, environmental, and documentation requirements.
