Job summary

Brooks Hire is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Mechanic to join the Withcott, QLD branch. You will diagnose, repair and service earthmoving equipment in the field and on site, and support workshop duties when not on site.

You will liaise with clients, assist with mobilisation of machines, and comply with environmental and OS&H standards. You must have your own tools and be able to pass a medical including a drug and alcohol test; forklift licenses are desirable.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of earth-moving equipment.
• Competent in diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on machines.
• Must have own tools.
• Forklift and high-risk licenses desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Must pass a medical including a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

Weare now seeking to employ a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Mechanic to work at our Withcott, QLD branch.

Responsibilities/duties will include:

• Use and apply knowledge and training to perform mechanical diagnosis, repairs, and service of equipment in the field and on site.
• Assist in workshop when not on site.
• Assist with mobilisation and demobilisation of machines.
• Assist with equipment dispatch and receivables.
• Comply with Environment and OS&H Standards.
• Liaise with clients.

Requirements:

• Be competent in performing Diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on machines.
• Must have own tools.
• Forklift / High risk work licenses desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Be able to pass a Medical including a Drug & Alcohol test.
