Job summary

Roche in Sydney is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Core Lab, Molecular Diagnostics, Tissue Diagnostics and Sequencing instruments. You will coordinate troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance activities across NSW with occasional interstate travel.

The role requires a tertiary degree in Electrical/Electronics, field service or medical devices experience, and a valid Australian work eligibility. A driver’s licence is essential, with a Monday–Friday schedule and on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience in field engineering or customer service within Medical Devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and data connectivity capabilities.
• Full eligibility to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Record all field activities in CRM with Account Management teams.
• Perform pre-install inspections and installations of Roche and other analytical systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Manage spare parts inventory and boot stock accuracy.
• Comply with safety, health, environmental policies and Roche Code of Conduct.
• Provide service to instruments in NSW with regional travel.
• Work 9am–5pm with rotating on-call roster after hours and weekends.
