Siemens Healthineers AG in Australia is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Laboratory Diagnostics to service pathology laboratory diagnostic systems across NSW/ACT. The role blends hands-on field engineering with clinical applications support, offering extensive training both in Australia and abroad.

You will perform installations, preventive maintenance, upgrades and corrective services (80%), and deliver application training plus workflow optimisation (20%).

Field Service Engineer - Laboratory Diagnostics

We’re offering a unique hybrid Field Services Expert role combining technical field engineering services with clinical applications support.

You’ll receive extensive hands‑on training in Australia and internationally and support a portfolio of pathology laboratory diagnostic systems across the NSW/ACT region.

Your role:

Visiting customer sites across NSW/ACT which include public/private hospitals and laboratories.

Engineering support (80%) - Perform installations, preventative maintenance, upgrades and corrective services

Applications support (20%)- Deliver application training, workflow optimisation and ongoing customer support

Build strong customer relationships to improve system performance and patient outcomes

Work closely with internal teams and share customer insights to support product improvements

Adhere to all EHS and compliance requirements

About you:

The successful candidate will be trade qualified or university trained

Happy to work autonomouslywhen trained

Hold an unrestricted driver’s licence

Able to travel across state, interstate and overseas.

Be able to provide evidence of your permanent work rights in Australia.
