Job summary

Thryv is seeking a field-based Business Advisor (Marketing Services) to manage a 150+ SMB client portfolio across Rockhampton and Gladstone, delivering tailored SEO, AEO, SEM and social solutions that drive real outcomes.

You will visit clients daily, discuss performance, identify upsell opportunities and build trusted relationships. The role includes base salary, super, car allowance and OTE with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on digital marketing sales experience with SEO/AEO/SEM and social.
• Ability to converse credibly about client marketing performance.
• Experience growing client portfolios beyond maintenance.
• Proactive upsell and cross-sell abilities.
• Organised and disciplined in managing 150+ relationships.
• Energetic and expert in digital marketing for visits.

Responsibilities

• Managing and growing a portfolio of 150+ SMB clients across Rockhampton/Gladstone QLD through regular face-to-face visits.
• Presenting tailored SEO, AEO, SEM and social solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for business owners.
• Identifying and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your existing portfolio.
• Hitting monthly sales and retention targets with consistency and discipline.
• Building long-term client relationships based on genuine digital marketing expertise and reliable follow-through.
• Managing your own pipeline, schedule and portfolio with full accountability.
• Keeping accurate client records and reporting results to your Account Director.
• Staying sharp on Thryv product updates, the digital marketing landscape and what is moving in the SMB market.
