Job summary

nbn is seeking a Field Safety and Quality Specialist based in the Sydney Metro area. You will conduct front-line safety assurance activities and physical quality inspections on nbn workers and infrastructure to ensure compliance with quality requirements and safety standards.

You will cover pre- and post-compliance tasks across multiple technologies, and you will be empowered to suggest improvements to safe working practices and quality processes while supporting DP crews and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in Civil or Telecommunications Field Operations
• Strong understanding of copper and fibre installation processes
• Ability to coach and upskill Delivery Partner crews
• Familiar with NSW legislation and operational practices

Responsibilities

• Conduct front-line safety assurance activities and physical quality inspections of workers and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and take corrective actions for non‑compliance
• Provide input to improve safe working practices and quality processes; cover pre/post compliance tasks across technologies
