Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Field Manager to oversee safe, efficient delivery of operations and maintenance across assets in Townsville. You will lead field teams, coordinate contractors, and ensure work meets contractual, environmental and regulatory requirements.

You will monitor performance, drive safety outcomes, and build strong client relationships while supporting workforce planning and fatigue management. Based in North Queensland, this role offers career development within a national business.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading field-based operations, maintenance or infrastructure teams.
• Strong commitment to safety leadership and operational excellence.
• Experience managing employees, subcontractors and day-to-day field activities.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field-based employees and subcontractors across operational activities.
• Ensure all work is delivered safely and in compliance with contractual, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity and service delivery outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Support workforce planning, resource allocation and fatigue management requirements.
• Maintain accurate reporting, documentation and operational records.
