Sandvik Mining is seeking a Product Specialist to be based in Mackay, QLD, with frequent travel to customer sites across Queensland. The role requires seven years’ post-trade Underground Mining experience and a Mechanical Trade Certificate.

You will coach maintenance teams, diagnose complex issues, and drive improvements using telemetry data and feedback to engineering. You will collaborate with product support, engineering, and aftermarket teams while upholding Sandvik’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years’ post-trade experience in Underground Mining.
• Experience delivering technical training to maintenance personnel and operators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills in customer-facing roles.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality on-site technical support to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers to promote loyalty to the Sandvik brand.
• Provide technical coaching to the service network on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations when component failures occur.
• Utilise machine telemetry data to help customers optimise fleet performance.
