Job summary
James Hardie is seeking a Business Development Manager - Install to grow the adoption of exterior solutions in the NSW market. You will work with builders, installers and partners to drive install capabilities, provide practical construction input and support successful specification and execution of Hardie exterior systems.
This field-based role offers remote work flexibility and a fully maintained company vehicle, with regular travel across Sydney Metro, Illawarra and Newcastle to support
Qualifications
- 5+ years in residential construction, site supervision, installation, or related field.
- Understanding of exterior walling and installation sequencing.
- Knowledge of fibre cement and exterior construction solutions is desirable.
- Strong training delivery, capability building and safety standards experience.
- Experience negotiating with builders, installers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Execute install programs to grow installer capacity and translate initiatives into local actions.
- Recruit, onboard and support installers through James Hardie programs.
- Manage state accounts to drive product adoption and training participation.
- Support key builder opportunities with install expertise and site-readiness input.
- Build strong relationships with builders, site teams and installers for smoother project delivery.
- Deliver local training and market activation initiatives to boost product knowledge and execution.
