Job summary

Bechtel Australia in Perth is seeking a Field Engineer to monitor contractor compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards on major construction works for the terminal and related infrastructure.

You will support engineering design, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery across aviation, defence and energy projects in Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing major projects in the building industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with leadership experience.
• Ability to influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with other disciplines to maintain program delivery priorities.
• Review contractor submittals, construction schedules, costs, reports and changes.
• Monitor contractor safety and quality of work.
• Support data for reports and forecasts, including progress and expenditure summaries.
