Job summary

Advanced Navigation Sydney seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to implement our inertial navigation systems (INS), GNSS receivers and Fibre Optic Gyroscope solutions on customer platforms across land, air and sea. You will work onsite with clients, run field trials, debug integrations and deliver working solutions with clear documentation and customer training.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of inertial navigation systems, GNSS and fiber optic gyroscopes.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Engage with prospects and customers to assess geospatial navigation requirements and business objectives.
Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase capabilities and benefits.
Embed with customer engineering teams to integrate INS, GNSS/INS, and FOG-based systems into platforms across land, air, maritime and robotics.
Plan and run field tests, trials and PoCs; define success criteria and analyse position, velocity, and orientation data.
Capture customer feedback and feed it back to Product and R&D to guide development.
