Farquhar Group, based in Adelaide, is seeking a Technology Support Officer for Cumberland Park to own end‑to‑end IT support. You will resolve Level 1–3 incidents, maintain systems, and ensure secure daily operations for staff.

You’ll set up hardware, manage access controls, assist with cybersecurity basics, and create guides. A BA/BS in IT fields is desirable and a current C‑class license is required. This role offers a collaborative environment with team events and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Systems is desirable.
• Experience supporting MacOS, Windows, and Microsoft Server environments.
• Strong hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Fundamental cybersecurity principles and data management knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; translate tech concepts for users.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Current C Class Driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for staff, providing Level 1–3 IT troubleshooting across hardware, software, networks, printing, and mobile devices.
• Set up, configure, and issue hardware (Windows and MacOS) while maintaining inventory.
• Handle access requests, password resets, MFA, and SSO troubleshooting; escalate security risks.
• Communicate with external vendors for escalated issues, repairs, and quotes.
• Create and maintain technical troubleshooting guides and provide practical staff training.
• Identify recurring issues and work with IT Manager to improve reliability and procedures.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be the primary contact for end‑to‑end IT support, resolving Level 1‑3 incidents in‑house, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring reliable, secure daily technology operations for our staff.

• Act as the first point of contact for staff, providing Level 1‑3 troubleshooting across hardware, software, networks, printing, and mobile devices.
• Set up, configure, and issue hardware (Windows and MacOS), ensuring compliance with company standards and maintaining accurate inventory.
• Handle access requests, password resets, MFA, and SSO troubleshooting while escalating potential security risks to the IT Manager.
• Communicate with external vendors for escalated issues, hardware repairs, and quotes, ensuring service excellence.
• Create and maintain technical troubleshooting guides and provide practical, informal training to help staff use systems effectively.
• Identify recurring technical issues, track performance metrics, and collaborate with the IT Manager to improve system reliability and IT procedures.

About You

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Systems is desirable.
• Practical experience supporting MacOS, Windows, and Microsoft Servers.
• Strong hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to translate tech concepts for everyday users.
• Ability to work autonomously and as a collaborative team player.
• Current C Class Driver’s licence.
