Carman’s Fine Foods is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to own our ERP, finance systems, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll lead system implementations, ensure cyber security, and collaborate with our Data & Analytics team to turn data into commercial decisions.

Based in Huntingdale with hybrid work options, you will manage MSPs and vendors, control the IT budget, and empower staff with secure, well-governed tools for growth.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years’ IT and business systems experience in FMCG, manufacturing or distribution.
• Hands-on ERP experience – SAP Business One highly regarded.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure administration skills.
• Practical cyber security and identity management experience.
• A track record of managing MSPs and vendors, and delivering business system implementations end-to-end.
• Experience with demand planning, TPM or IBP systems (e.g. Blueshift), Power BI administration, or AI tool rollout is a bonus.
• Strong commercial acumen – you weigh cost, risk and value, and you’re comfortable saying no.
• A natural problem solver who explains technology in plain English and influences stakeholders at all levels.

• Own cyber security across all Carman’s systems – lift maturity, manage identity and access, incident response and staff awareness.
• Manage Microsoft Fabric capacity and security in partnership with Data & Analytics Lead.
• Enable safe, well-governed rollout of AI tools such as Claude and Copilot.
• Manage MSPs, vendors – SLAs, contracts and monthly invoices.
• Own the IT budget and licences, ensuring value for money.
• Train and upskill staff to use systems securely.

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially minded IT Manager to own the technology that keeps Carman’s running, our business systems, infrastructure and cyber security – and make sure it’s secure, reliable and ready for our next chapter of growth.

You’ll be our go-to for our ERP (currently SAP Business One), Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft Fabric, lead new system implementations, and manage the partners who look after our day-to-day IT. You’ll work closely with our Data & Analytics team, giving them a secure, well-governed platform so they can focus on turning data into better commercial decisions.

Based in Huntingdale, this role reports to our CFO. Key to your success will be your ability to be both the strategist and the person who rolls up their sleeves to fix it, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What does my day look like?

Own our ERP (currently SAP Business One) and finance systems – configuration, enhancements, integrations, user access and upgrades – supporting Finance through month-end and year-end, and our Operations and Supply Chain teams every day

Lead new system implementations that integrate seamlessly into our IT environment, from business case to go-live, including our in-house Supply Chain Planning tool

Build and maintain a systems architecture map and application register so we know where critical support is required

Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure, including Teams and SharePoint governance, backup and disaster recovery, and keep cloud costs under control

Own cyber security across all Carman’s systems – lift our maturity against an agreed framework, manage identity and access, run incident response and build staff awareness

Manage Microsoft Fabric capacity and security in partnership with our Data & Analytics Lead

Enable the safe, well-governed rollout of AI tools such as Claude and Copilot

Manage our managed service provider and IT vendors – service levels, contracts and monthly invoices

Own the IT budget and licences, making sure every dollar earns its place

Train and upskill our people so they use our systems and tools effectively and securely.

What are we looking for?

7+ years’ experience in IT and business systems, ideally in FMCG, manufacturing or distribution

Hands-on ERP experience – SAP Business One highly regarded

Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure administration skills

Practical cyber security and identity management experience (Essential Eight knowledge highly regarded)

A track record of managing MSPs and vendors, and delivering business system implementations end-to-end

Experience with demand planning, TPM or IBP systems (e.g. Blueshift), Microsoft Fabric / Power BI administration, or AI tool rollout is a bonus

Strong commercial acumen – you weigh cost, risk and value, and you’re comfortable saying no
