Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a hands-on, safety-focused field professional based in Bega to support civil construction and maintenance works. You will inspect activities against project specs, record results, and work with teams, contractors and supervisors to ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

The role requires a current White Card and a valid driver’s licence, strong WHS knowledge, and the ability to interpret plans.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in civil construction, road maintenance or similar environments.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety in fieldwork.
• Ability to confidently interpret plans and specifications; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be out in the field supporting civil construction and maintenance works, checking activities against project specifications and quality requirements, and maintaining accurate records.
• Perform inspections and measurements, use a range of tools and equipment, and work closely with team members, contractors and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely and to standard.
