Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a hands-on professional to support the delivery of civil construction and maintenance works in the field. You will check activities against project specifications and quality requirements, and maintain accurate records.

You will perform inspections, take measurements, use a range of tools and equipment, and collaborate with team members, contractors and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely and to standard.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, safety-focused professional with civil construction experience.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications.
• WH&S knowledge, good communication, White Card and driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of civil construction and maintenance works in the field.
• Check activities against project specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and measurements.

In this role, you'll:

Be out in the field supporting the delivery of civil construction and maintenance works, checking activities against project specifications and quality requirements, and maintaining accurate records. You'll perform inspections and measurements, use a range of tools and equipment, and work closely with team members, contractors and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely and to standard.

About you

You're a hands-on and safety-focused professional with experience in civil construction, road maintenance or a similar environment. You take pride in quality work, can confidently interpret plans and specifications, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of WHS requirements, good communication skills, and a current White Card and driver's licence will help you succeed in this role.

This role is based in Mardi.
