Job summary

Tulua Care and Services is seeking outgoing female Support Workers to assist a man in the Quakers Hill region with personal care, community access, and appointment transport. Your own vehicle is required, and experience in disability support plus fluency in English are essential.

Role involves driving to appointments, supporting daily living activities, and participating in community events. Availability includes Tue 8am–11am, Thu 8am–11am, and Sun 8am–11am / 4pm–7pm, with potential hours

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support and assisting with daily living activities.
• Fluent English is required and clear communication is essential.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
• Police Check and Working with Children Clearance required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or equivalent module is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Assist client to access the local community, including driving to appointments.
• Support with community participation activities.
• Manage household tasks such as cleaning and chores as needed.
• Hours include Tue 8am–11am, Thu 8am–11am, Sun 8am–11am and 4pm–7pm; hours may vary.

We have an opportunity for outgoing, efficient female Support Workers in the Quakers Hill region to support a man. This role involves personal care, access to the local community, driving to medical appointments and community participation. An understanding of Indian culture would be an advantage. Your own vehicle is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal care

Accessing the community which involves the use of a car to transport to and from medical appointments etc

Community participation

Assistance with Daily living such as cleaning

Tuesday 8am - 11am

Thursday 8am - 11am

Sunday 8am - 11am and 4pm - 7pm

These hours are subject to change and may increase. Occasionally hours will also be extended for community participation. Availability and flexibility will be prioritised.

Requirements:

Experience in Disability Support,minimum 2 year

Current First Aid & CPR

Certificate NDIS Workers Screening Check / Module

Working with Children Clearance

Police Check

Fluency in English

Driver’s license with insured and reliable vehicle

Certificate of Manual Handling

Hourly rate

Weekdays - $42.18 per hour

Saturdays - $59.49 per hour

Sundays - $76.79 per hour
