Female Hindi-Speaking Disability Support Worker – Warwick Farm

Ongoing Weekday Shifts | Community & Daily Living Support

Nextt is seeking a reliable and committed FEMALE Disability Support Workerto provide ongoing support to a female participant in Warwick Farm, NSW.

The participant lives with schizophrenia and requires a Support Worker who can provide consistent, respectful and person-centred assistance with her daily routine, personal care and community access.

Hindi language skills are required to support effective communication and help build a comfortable and trusting working relationship.

About the Role

You will provide support with:

• Assisting the participant with her morning routine and getting started for the day
• Personal care and daily living activities
• Household chores and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Prompting medication in accordance with the participant's support plan
• Preparing or prompting breakfast
• Providing companionship, reassurance and consistent support
• Community access on Wednesdays, including transport to:
• Encouraging independence, choice and participation in everyday activities

Shifts

Applicants MUST be available for the following ongoing shifts:

• Monday: 10 00am – 2 00pm
• Wednesday: 10 00am – 3 00pm
• Friday: 10 00am – 2 00pm

Previous experience supporting people with mental health or psychosocial disability will be highly regarded.

Requirements

To be considered, you will need:

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working With Children Check - Employee
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
• NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
• Current valid Driver's Licence
• Reliable access to a suitable vehicle
• Relevant disability or mental health support experience

Pay Rates

E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)

SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):

• Base hourly rate: $36.81
• Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $40.49
• Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday)$41.23
• Saturday: $51.54
• Sunday: $66.26
• Public holiday: $80.99
