Job summary

Phendit Disability & Home Care Services seeks a female Disability Support Worker to assist participants mainly in South-Western Sydney and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, help with daily living tasks, enable community participation, and support capacity building.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in relevant fields, current First Aid/CPR, and be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, AIN, or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working With Children Check (if applicable).
• Previous experience supporting people with disability (preferred).
• Ability to provide personal care and manual handling support.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Understanding of WHS and risk management in home and community settings.
• Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle and current NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

We are currently seeking female Disability Support Workers to support participants primarily within South-Western Sydney, while also servicing participants across the broader Sydney metropolitan area.
