Job summary

SunPork Group is seeking 5 casual Piggery Attendants for Tong Park, approximately 38 hours per week. No piggery experience is required as training will be provided; the role suits individuals who enjoy animal care and active, day-to-day work on a farm.

You will feed, monitor welfare, and assist with routine farm tasks while following strict animal welfare, biosecurity and safety procedures. A reliable, team‑oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• No formal piggery experience required; training will be provided.
• Reliable, physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on work.
• Able to work well in a team and follow procedures.
• Good work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day care and handling of pigs.
• Feed and monitor animal health and welfare.
• Maintain clean and safe piggery facilities.
• Assist with routine husbandry tasks.
• Follow animal welfare, biosecurity, WHS and food safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive team.
• Complete general farm duties as required.

About the Role

We are currently seeking 5 Piggery Attendants to join our team at Tong Park on a casual basis, working approximately 38 hours per week.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with animals, working as part of a team and being active throughout the day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day‑to‑day care and handling of pigs
• Feeding and monitoring animal health and welfare
• Maintaining clean and safe piggery facilities
• Assisting with routine husbandry tasks
• Following animal welfare, biosecurity, WHS and food safety procedures
• Working effectively as part of a supportive team
• Completing other general farm duties as required

About You

You don't necessarily need previous piggery experience — training will be provided to the right candidates.
