Job summary

Data#3 is seeking an Associate Cyber Security Sales Specialist to support a Federal Government portfolio in Canberra, helping strengthen cyber resilience alongside Account Managers and Security Specialists.

You will identify cross-sell opportunities, participate in workshops, and help craft proposals. A 1–3 year background in tech sales or IT, strong communication, and a current Australian Defence Security Clearance (or eligibility) are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in tech sales, account management, or IT roles.
• Passionate about cybersecurity and the Federal Government landscape.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Proactive, fast learner eager to complete industry certifications.
• Collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-focused, high-performance environment.
• Current Australian Department of Defence Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Support a portfolio of Federal Government customers.
• Identify and qualify new cybersecurity cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions, and presentations.
• Help craft compelling proposals, quotes, and official tender responses.
• Stay informed on Australian Government security strategies and frameworks
