Job summary

IT Alliance Australia is seeking a Lead Cyber Security Adviser for a Federal Government client in Canberra. The role focuses on identity and access security, secure cloud deployments and advisory in implementing Entra ID and conditional access.

The successful candidate will develop strategies for remote and regional environments, engineer secure patterns for Azure-based solutions and ensure alignment with Essential Eight and PSPF requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring Microsoft Entra ID, conditional access, and secure authentication/authorisation models.
• Ability to build, configure, test and validate security controls and remediate gaps.
• Knowledge of ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight, privacy and data protection obligations.
• Engineer secure implementation patterns for Azure Foundry and emerging tech solutions.
• Develop identity, access and data protection strategies for remote/regional environments.

Job description

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Lead Cyber Security Adviser in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Practical experience configuring Microsoft Entra ID, conditional access, application access patterns, cloud service integrations and secure authentication/authorisation models.
• Ability to build, configure, test and validate security controls, remediate gaps, produce implementation artefacts and support transition to operations.
• Working knowledge of the ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight, privacy, data protection and supply chain obligations.
• Engineer secure implementation patterns for Azure Foundry, AI accelerator and emerging technology solutions.
• Develop strategies for identity, access, data protection and deployment considerations for remote and regional operating environments.
