Katherine West Health Board in Katherine seeks an experienced FDSV Healing Coordinator to provide leadership, coordination and clinical oversight of the Big Rivers Healing for Our Mob program.

You will strengthen integration across partner organisations, support healing and wellbeing of FDSV victims and communities, and supervise practitioners while mentoring students; a tertiary Social Work qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for Australian Association of Social Workers membership.
• Understanding of Aboriginal cultural values and commitment to self-determination of Aboriginal communities.
• Experience in leading healing or social services programs is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, coordination and clinical oversight of the Big Rivers Healing for Our Mob program.
• Strengthen multidisciplinary integration across partnering organisations for a health-led approach.
• Oversee referral and intake processes with triage and prioritisation based on risk and need.
• Ensure high-quality case management, care plans, risk assessments and documentation.
• Mentor and support FDSV Healing Practitioners and Health Promotion Officers; supervise students.
