Job summary

RACV Noosa Resort in Queensland is seeking a Breakfast Demi Chef to join the kitchen team on a full-time basis. This role focuses on the daily buffet breakfast, delivering high-quality dining experiences for members and guests while supporting the kitchen's smooth operation.

You will report to the Executive Chef, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring a Commercial Cookery qualification with strong knife skills and a passion for quality food.

Qualifications

• Commercial Cookery qualification recognised in Australia.
• Demi Chef experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort highly regarded.
• Demonstrated cookery and well developed knife skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen sections, mis en place, sauces, vegetables & butchery.
• Thrives in a large, busy and fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift 20 kg and perform repetitive tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Serve a consistent high-quality product.
• Maintain equipment, utensils and a clean & hygienic kitchen.
• Manage regular rotation of stock with minimal wastage.
• Update knowledge and skills in procedures and techniques.
• Follow directions from senior chefs and work as a team player.
