Job summary

Village Roadshow Theme Parks’ Paradise Country, Oxenford, on the Gold Coast, seeks a Farmstay and Park Operations Supervisor to support the Park and Accommodation Manager. You’ll help keep day-to-day operations safe, efficient and well presented, so guests enjoy memorable country experiences.

This hands-on role requires supervisory experience, strong guest focus, and solid computer skills. Weekend and shift flexibility, plus a Blue Card, are essential.

Qualifications

• Blue Card is essential for the role and cost considerations apply.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in tourism, attractions or hospitality.
• Strong organisation, time management and decision-making skills.
• Excellent guest service with a friendly, professional approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Intermediate computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work across Farmstay and Park operations, including weekends and evenings.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
• Knowledge of Paradise Country operations or animal-based attractions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Park and Accommodation Manager with day-to-day Park and Farmstay operations, including opening, closing and supervisory coverage.
• Lead and allocate team members, providing coaching and training to deliver Safety, Service and Fun.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence, monitoring guest service, safety, cleanliness and presentation.
• Support Farmstay operations, including reception, guest arrivals and departures, housekeeping, activities and guest requests.
• Support Admissions, Guest Services, Wildlife, Farm and Nursery, events, holiday programs and park initiatives.
• Complete incident reports, maintenance requests, handovers and operational documentation.
• Support the Emergency Response Team and assist with incidents and emergencies within your training.
