Job summary

Paradise Country in Oxenford on the Gold Coast is seeking a dedicated Farmstay and Park Operations Supervisor. You’ll support the Park and Accommodation Manager, lead a team, and help ensure safety, service and a memorable guest experience across Farmstay and park operations.

This full-time role requires hands-on leadership, strong guest service, and the ability to coordinate across departments, with flexibility for weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Blue Card is essential (cost noted).
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in tourism, attractions, hospitality or related operations.
• Strong organisation and time management skills to prioritise changing needs and problems.
• Excellent guest service with a friendly, professional approach.
• Strong teamwork and written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Flexibility to work across Farmstay and Park operations, including weekends and evenings.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of Paradise Country operations and animal-based attractions is advantageous.

• Lead and allocate team members, providing coaching and training to deliver Safety, Service and Fun.

• Support Farmstay operations, including reception, guest arrivals and departures, housekeeping, activities and guest requests.
• Support Admissions, Guest Services, Wildlife, Farm and Nursery, as well as events, holiday programs and Park initiatives.
• Completing incident reports, maintenance requests, handovers and operational documentation.
• Supporting the Emergency Response Team and assisting with incidents and emergencies within your training.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be:

• Supporting the Park and Accommodation Manager with day-to-day Park and Farmstay operations, including opening, closing and supervisory coverage.

What We’re Looking For

• Blue Card is essential* (Please be advised that the cost of a Blue Card is currently $108.30).
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in tourism, attractions, hospitality, accommodation or similar operations, with the ability to lead by example, delegate, coach and uphold standards across multiple areas.
• Strong organisation, time management and decision-making skills to prioritise changing needs, solve problems and escalating when required.
• Excellent guest service with a friendly, professional and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong teamwork and written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across Paradise Country and the wider business, and complete reports and handovers.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work across Farmstay and Park operations, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings and evenings as required.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications, or willingness to obtain them, are highly regarded.
• Knowledge of Paradise Country operations, guest experiences and animal-based attractions is advantageous.
