Job summary

Ferguson Hyams Investment Management (FHIM) is seeking a Farm Manager to lead large-scale sheep operations in Central West NSW, overseeing grazing, fodder production, staff supervision and day-to-day farm activities.

This on-site role in Forbes NSW requires strong livestock management, safety, and record-keeping discipline. Local candidates or those willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years as a manager of a large-scale sheep operation.
• Experience supervising staff, contractors or daily farm operations.
• Experience with livestock management systems such as AgriWebb or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily livestock monitoring, feeding, welfare, water and pen management.
• Coordinate onboarding/outboarding of stock, health treatments and movements to high standards.
• Lead and supervise farm staff and contractors, allocating daily tasks and ensuring safety and quality.
• Ensure WHS, biosecurity, and compliance, managing hazards and incidents.
• Plan logistics, feed deliveries, contractor attendance, machinery availability and scheduling.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on livestock performance and priorities.
