Job summary

CQID in Bundaberg, Queensland is seeking an entry-level Full-time role to help reunify disconnected children with family and kin. You will conduct family finding, engage communities, and implement care plans under the Strong in Family & Culture framework.

The position requires travel, strong communication, and a commitment to culturally safe practice. Responsibilities include researching extended networks, documenting genograms, and collaborating with the SFC team to support positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Current C Class licence and valid WWC/Blue Card.
• First Aid/CPR certificate in place or willing to obtain.
• Experience delivering services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
• Knowledge of Child Protection frameworks and practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide case facilitation for family finding and reunification.
• Research, locate and engage family, kin and significant others.
• Develop and implement individualized reunification plans.
• Maintain client records and report progress and outcomes.
• Build positive relationships with families, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Contribute to policies and practice standards.
• Support team members and uphold CQID quality standards.
• Fulfill ISO HSQS compliance duties and workplace safety.
